Identification

Abstract

This dataset shows the vulnerability of the Nanaimo Lowland aquifer, British Columbia. The study area is from Nanoose Bay to Deep Bay, designating a low relief coastal strip along the southeastern part of Vancouver Island, BC. The vulnerability was created using the DRASTIC method. The resulting map shows that the aquifer is less vulnerable in the mountains than in the rest of the study area.
