Lineage is the description of the sources and steps used to create the current dataset.

Introduction
Process step Sources
Annual precipitation data were compiled in an excel file with geographic coordinates, elevation and name of the weather stations. The excel file was converted to point shapefile. The precipitation data were interpolated using IDW method with a power parameter of value 6. The values obtained were classified in four classes.
