Abstract

This dataset presents the mean annual recharge rates of the Annapolis Valley aquifer using the water balance method. The aquifer includes five watersheds: Annapolis, Cornwallis, Canard, Habitant and Pereau. The recharge rates vary according to the surficial geologic unit, from a mean value of 308 mm/y for fine sediments to 120 mm/y for a discontinuous till.
