The dataset partly comes from the (.txt) format data downloaded from the Provincial Groundwater Monitoring Network (PGMN) from the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change Ontario (http://www.ene.gov.on.ca/environment/en/resources/collection/data_downloads/index.htm#PGMN). Only the data from the 45 files related to wells located in the Oak Ridges Moraine was kept. The rest of the data referring to underground water geochemistry for southern Ontario (MDR283.zip) was downloaded from the site (http://www.mndm.gov.on.ca/en/mines-and-minerals/applications/ogsearth) of the Ministry of Northern Development and mines.
