Identification

Abstract

This dataset refers to the intrinsic vulnerability, evaluated with the DRASTIC method, to pollution of granular aquifers in the Portneuf area, extending from 71ˮ30 to 72ˮ30. The eight categories classification exhibits the sand; deltaic, glaciofluvial and littoral gravel hydrogeological units as the ones having the highest vulnerability values. The hydrogeological units located in the roc show the lowest vulnerability values.

The dataset was built according to the file Dras_region.shp from the archive folder of the Portneuf project. A raster was created with ArcGis the values in the GRID_CODE fields were attributed to pixels. The poster "Cartographie hydrogéologique régionale du piémont laurentien dans la MRC de Portneuf: comparaison des méthodes d'évaluation de la vulnérabilité intrinsèque" was used to establish a Drastic index value for each pixel. Correspondence between Pixels values and DRASTIC index values are: 0.aquifère confiné, 1.80-99, 2.100-119, 3.120-139, 4.140-159, 5.160-179 et 6.180-199.
