Identification

Abstract

This dataset describes the groundwater samples collected for hydrogeochemical characterization and assement of water quality in the Mirabel area. The study area located northwest of Montreal, includes four regional county municipalities: Argenteuil, Deux-Montagnes, Mirabel and Therese-De-Blainville. The samples were collected during three fieldwork campaigns, in spring and summer 1999, and summer 2000. A total of 151 private, municipal, and observation wells and two tapped springs were sampled.

The dataset comes from the data base nmgimconverti.mdb of the AFSOQ project archives folder. Samples names and sampling dates are from the table tblSampE (NOMECHAN and DateEchant fields). Sampling depth data is form table tblvSampE. Coordinates (X,Y) are form table tblloc. To relate tables tblloca and tblSampE a joint was made with table tblStat.
