Abstract

This dataset presents the physico-chemical analysis results of groundwater samples of the Chaudière River Watershed. The study area designates the Chaudière River watershed, located south of the St. Lawrence River, near Québec City. The assessment of groundwater composition was realised with 155 samples. In general, common groundwater quality concerns in both bedrock and surface wells are related to excessive TDS and hardness (high dissolved magnesium), pH, bacteria and high concentrations of iron and sulphide.
