The dataset was built according to the geometry included in the mrctrim.shp file and of the newsletter "Inventaire canadien des ressources en eau souterraine: Caractérisation hydrogéologique régionale et intégrée du système aquifère du sud-ouest du Québec" (figure 55) produced by the Geological Survey of Canada. Water quantity was calculated by usage type using the total consummation and the percentage of usage per type. Water for crops and livestock usage was regrouped under agriculture usage, water for aqueducts and private wells usage was regrouped under domestic usage and water for quarry, bottled water, gulfs was regrouped under industrial usage.
