Identification

Abstract

This dataset presents the physico-chemical analysis of the groundwater samples from the south-central area of the Maritimes Carboniferous Basin and their results for the following parameters: As, Ba, Cl, F, Fe, hardness, Mn, Na, NO3, Pb, SO4 and TDS. The study area extends from 65°30' à 63°30'. The results show that the groundwater quality is generally excellent. Some concentrations of fluorides in New Brunswick and nitrates in Prince Edward Island exceeded advisory levels.
