Abstract

The dataset shows the contamination vulnerability of the Annapolis valley surficial aquifer, according to the DRASTIC method. The aquifer includes five watersheds: Annapolis, Cornwallis, Canard, Habitant and Pereau. The results of the vulnerability study show that the sand and gravel deposits of the valley floor are the most vulnerable regions with a high to extremely high vulnerability. The low vulnerability areas match the discontinuous till deposits. The other regions of the study area show mainly a moderate to moderately high vulnerability.

Introduction
General process description
Process step Sources
The dataset was extracted form the file sg_gsc_v_Erase.shp of the Annapolis project archives folder. the data was converted to a raster using ArcGIS by attributing the values in the field GRIDCODE to pixels. The cell length is 100 m. Pixels values correspond to the fallowing values. 1. 1-79 Extremely low; 2. 80-99 Very low; 3. 100-119 Low; 4. 120-139 Moderate; 5. 140-159 Moderately high; 6. 160-179 High.
